When I was ten, my world revolved around school, games, and the boundless wonder that comes with childhood. It was during one golden summer break that my journey into the realm of coding began. My parents, sensing the quiet spark in my eyes whenever I spoke about computers and electronics, gifted me an old desktop that had gathered dust in the attic. With its bulky monitor and the soft hum of its hard drive, it felt like a portal — a bridge to a world waiting to be discovered.

The computer came with a few simple programs and one particularly intriguing tool: VisualBasic.NET. At first, I sat before the screen, fingers hovering uncertainly, heart thumping with anticipation. The idea that I could type commands and watch the computer come alive was intoxicating. I began with the simplest of incantations — a “Hello, World!” message. When those words shimmered into existence on the screen, something inside me shifted. It was more than an achievement; it felt like alchemy, a dance between thought and machine.

From that moment, my curiosity grew insatiable. I explored more complex logic, creating small programs that added numbers, flashed messages, or mimicked the roll of a dice. Each project was a lesson in patience, the art of problem-solving, and the magic of perseverance. I remember the sting of frustration as errors cropped up like stubborn weeds, only to be replaced by the euphoria of triumph when a solution emerged. Debugging transformed from an irritation into a riddle, a puzzle that whispered, “Solve me if you can.”

As the years passed, coding became not just a pastime but a calling. I ventured into Python, C++, and GoLang, hungry to expand my understanding and build something greater. My first significant project was a blockchain fork based on Monero, an endeavor driven purely by fascination. It revealed to me the secrets of cryptographic principles, the thrill of contributing to open-source communities, and the power of collective knowledge. That project cracked open the mysteries of distributed systems, security, and the potential of decentralized applications.

Throughout high school and into my professional journey, that initial spark blazed on, unyielding. It propelled me to create web and mobile applications, to experiment with AI/ML, and to give back to the very communities that nurtured my growth. I started participating in hackathons, eager to test my skills and push my creative limits.

Over time, I won many national and international hackathons, each victory adding fuel to my passion and teaching me the value of teamwork, resilience, and the art of rapid problem-solving under pressure. These experiences not only honed my technical abilities but also solidified my belief in the boundless possibilities that come with collaboration and innovation.

Looking back, that first “Hello, World!” was not just a greeting on a screen; it was the first note in a symphony that has played ever since. It was the prelude to a lifelong journey of discovery and creation. And it all began when I was ten, sitting wide-eyed before that old, humming desktop, ready to learn, and unknowingly, ready to be forever changed.
